SERVICES
Weekly Mowing
Our standard lawn care service includes: Mowing of the entire lawn, flat string trimming around landscape beds, fence lines, trees, mailboxes, signs etc. Blade edging along all driveways, sidewalks and curbs. Cleaning of all grass clippings on paved surfaces. We use mulching blades as it is better for the lawn. Using our software, the mowing team can keep detailed notes on your property so that every crew member can personalize your service.
We offer routine mowing services.
Fertilization
In addition to weekly mowing service, we also offer fertilization packages to keep your lawn green and healthy. The best way to keep the weeds away is to have a thick healthy lawn with deep roots.
Our basic treatment packages are a 4-step program and 6-step program. Usually spaced out about 6-8 weeks apart between applications. This will include pre-emergent, fertilization, weed control and an optional grub control in summer.
1. 1st Split Pre-emergent Application (Early spring to prevent weeds from germinating)
2. 2nd Split Pre-emergent Application (6-8 weeks after 1st application)
3. Fertilization/Post Emergence (Spring to Late spring)
4. Optional - (Summer grub control)
5. Fall Fertilization Application (Great results when done with aeration and over seeding)
6. Late Fall Fertilization Application (Winterization)

Bush Trimming
We are well trained in trimming all bushes, hedges and shrubs. We can trim on a scheduled basis per year to save you money by maintaining them or trim as needed.
Mulch Install
Installing mulch has a number of benifical factors. It crowds out weeds from growing in landscape beds and most importantly retains moisture to maintain healthy flowers, shurbs and trees. Too much mulch will often result in root rot and disease. Give us a call and we will help in estimating how much mulch you will need. We provide a variety of hardwood mulch colors as well as river rocks and pea rocks
Aeration
Lawn aertions take thousands of tiny holes out of the lawn. These holes relieve compacted soil and allows air, moisture and nutrients to penetrate the grass roots. This helps roots grow deep and produces a stronger thicker lawn. The more dense your lawn is the less weeds will grow. Your lawn is a good canidate for aeration if:
-
Your lawn has heavy traffic from kids or pets. This leads to soil compaction
-
Your property has been newly built. Often times the new sod does not have very thick roots yet and the soil under the new grass has been compacted by heavy machinery.
-
Thatch is a build up of dead vegitation between the grass and soil. Take a shovel and remove a slice of the lawn 4" thick. If the thatch layer is greater then 1/2 inch, aeration is recommended.
Aeration is also recommended over dethatching because dethatching a lawn damages the grass and leads to more dead grass. Aeration safely dethatches the lawn and allows the dead grass that hasnt been removed a place to decompose.
Overseeding
On average a blade of grass lives for 45 to 60 days and after several years the grass plants slow down their production rate. This makes the lawns thin with grass and more full of weeds. The best time to over seed is in the late summer/early fall. That way the new grass has will develop better roots before the temperature drops too low. Spring is also another time to over seed but if done so, no pre-emergent fertilizer can be applied as it will kill the grass seed.
